Note: The files have a -rc3 in their name because they were made for the 2.4.19-rc3 kernel. Between 2.4.19-rc3 and 2.4.19 nothing has changed in respect to this patches, therefore they work with the 2.4.19 kernel as well.
This patch originaly comes from Petr Vandrovec, the matroxfb kernel maintainer. It is an backport of the latest changes in the 2.5 kernel.
This patch originaly comes from the directFb team. It adds an ioctl to
wait for the next vertical sync. I've added a funtionality that it waits
for the next full frame sync when the TV-out is activated.
I've added another ioctl which is called RESYNC. When this one is called, the
TV-out is restarted again to begin with a new full frame.
Requires: mga-2.4.19-rc3-tvout-v3.gz
State: Highly experimental.
The patch adds a resync method.

This patch adds another OSD class: dfbosd. This class is derived from the dvbosd class. Only the method to communicate with the dvb card is changed in a way, that all communication is sent into a pipe.
Later in the gp_vdr plugin these information are used to bring the OSD onto the directFB screen.
